Here are some recent photographs of my beauties "the flowers".  Taken in the greenhouse at Everlasting Spring Garden Center located in White Sulpher Springs, New York.  I worked there for a couple of months this Spring.  It truly is a nifty experience to have swallowtail butterflies, bumble bees, dragonflies, and wild rabbits as co-workers.  Please enjoy my photos!

Mother's Day 2010

Here are some photos of a quilt that I machine quilted for my dear mother.  I used metallic threads

and I also sewed sequins, shell buttons, and my husbands handmade glass beads onto the quilt for

added decoration.  I love cats, and fabrics designed by artist Laurel Burch.  Enjoy!

I made this quilt in February 2010.  I donated it to the Briscoe Lake Association to raise money towards the payment of the Briscoe Dam.  I enjoyed sewing this quilt, and using the buttonhole stitch to outline the heart shapes, with my machine.

Dia designs Logo

My second post

Greetings and Welcome to my second post. Today's date is January 16 2010, so Happy New Year to all who visit this blog. Any thoughts about Art and Graphic Design are welcome. I just finished designing my own logo for Dia Designs and my favorite teacher gave me the thumbs up.  I designed the logo myself and I am sure someday it will be as recognizable as Nike or Mercedes.

Greetings and Welcome to Diane's blog space. I am enjoying wintertime in the empire state, and I hope winter is treating you well...where ever you hang your hat . I am a Graphic Designer and I just finished working on creating a logo for myself. I love cats, so I included a silhouette of a sitting cat in my design.
